Each year since 2013, and sometimes more than once a year, Inspiration Alcona has brought educational presentations to Alcona Community Schools, most often for the elementary grades.

​Most, but not all, of these programs use performers from the Michigan Humanities Council's Touring Directory of officially sanctioned presentations. When we have used another group, we ensure that the educational component of the program is the most emphasized aspect.

​As seen in the photos on this page, the students have seen a variety of content they would otherwise have little or no access to in this remote, rural part of northeast Michigan.
