Ceclia Woloch is an internationally famous poet who is officially based in Los Angeles but spends half of each year traveling the world. She has published six books of poetry, a novel, and many essays, short fiction and reviews. Her latest poetry book, "Earth," was published in 2015. Her novel, "Sur la Route," also was published in 2015. Her second book of poetry, "Tsigan: The Gypsy Poem," has been translated into French and developed into a multimedia presentation. Her poems have been translated into French, German, Bulgarian, Polish and Ukranian.
She taught creative writing at the University of Southern California from 2006 to 2014 and is the founder of writing workshops in California, Paris and Istanbul.
She teaches students from raw beginners to published poets in workshops around the world. She'll be teaching in Paris in June this year. Known as a great teacher, she has taught kids, seniors, criminally insane people, homeless women and children, writers and educators. She drives a pickup truck, can do splits and knows when and how to use the subjunctive.
