Spruce Country Days

May 27, 2017
Downtown Spruce

The crowd gathered about 11 a.m. for the unveiling of the windows.
Cindy Apsey's photographs were the stars of the new installation.
Four buildings in downtown Spruce got the special treatment.
The photos will stay up, so drop by Spruce to see them in person.
More of Cindy's work can be seen at her Facebook page, Facebook.com/crazyladyphoto/.
The pig roast was quite a hit.
Kids of all ages took turns with the firehose.
There were old-fashioned games and activities for children and teens.
Spruce Presbyterian Church hosted a quilt show during the event.
No event for kids would be complete without a little kid decoration.
The Alcona Tractor Club showed a display of antique farm equipment.
A number of vendors offered arts and crafts.
The Loyal Ladies raised more than $8,000 in support of this and future events.
Inspiration Alcona was a sponsor of this community event.
