2015 Live Art at the Harbor

July 16, 2015
Harrisville Harbor

Many of the girls seemed to love to paint tiny birdhouses with acrylics.
Others were drawn to watercolors.
Students of a few more years did abstract pieces.
There was no age limit, though.
For a boy, what's better than painting a turtle on a turtle-shaped rock?
This painted birdhouse is about to get its final decorations.
The watercolor fish were almost as popular as the birdhouses.
During the week between two annual summer events in Harrisville, a big tent is put up on the hill above the harbor. Between the antiques show and the wine tasting, Inspiration Alcona put on an event for children of all ages to explore art. About 60 lessons were given, mostly to children of child age.
