Fingerpainting is always a good choice. This is a shared canvas with many fingers contributing.
A number of children found working with alcohol inks was fun.
Stenciled scenes from nature turned into work suitable for framing.
During the week between two annual summer events in Harrisville, a big tent is put up on the hill above the harbor. Between the antiques show and the wine tasting, Inspiration Alcona put on an event for children of all ages to explore art. About 37 lessons were given, mostly to children of child age, by a staff of five local artists.
