Magical Rain Theaterworks
December 22, 2015
Alcona Elementary School

In a Latino costume, the narrator began telling stories and singing songs. But soon ...
A dancer in a skull mask and Day of the Dead shirt appeared and started making trouble.
The skeleton, played by Dan Runyan of Magical Rain Theaterworks, couldn't stop dancing.

Cosponsored by Inspiration Alcona, the Michigan Humanities Council, the Michigan Council for Arts and Cultural Affairs, the National Endowment for the Arts and the Alcona County Library

Two presenters from Magical Rain Theaterworks came to the Alcona Community Schools on December 22, 20156, to show students from kindergarten through sixth grades Latin American culture through storytelling, song and laughter. "Palabras Luminosas" refers to dazzling stories.

The children especially liked, of course, the dancing skeleton.
