Lost Lake Woods Club will host this dinner made entirely from Michigan products, mostly from Alcona County.
Inspiration Alcona's new Farm to Fork Alcona program kicks off with this evening of drinks, friends and great spaghetti, along with live music. The bar opens at 4:30, and a hearty dinner of salad, spaghetti, bread and dessert begins at 5:30. Please join us for this all-Michigan event.

The special pasta sauces are created entirely from Alcona County products. The meat sauce features Leeseberg Farms' special beef, while the meatless sauce is filled with vegetables from the ARA Farm Market. The pasta is made in  Whitmore Lake (just outside Ann Arbor), and breads and desserts are baked within our county. You'll taste the proof that local food is better.

Make sure to sign up in advance (see below); there may be no dinners available at the door. When you sign up, we'll put your name on the entry list and check your name off when you arrive.

The dinner itself is a Kickoff for future Farm to Fork Alcona events, including the September 30 fermentation workshop and locavore dinner September 30 and the first Alcona Small Farms Conference February 10, 2018.

In addition, we'll formally open a crowdfunding campaign to help make Alcona County a major player in the burgeoning Farm to Table movement that's swept the nation. We plan to raise $7,500 online and have a source that will double that goal if we succeed in reaching it. We'll use that money for the upcoming conference, as well as to subsidize other dinners and learning experiences.

There are three ways to sign up:

1. You may mail a check for $15 per person to Inspiration Alcona, PO Box 506, Lincoln, MI 48742.

2. You may use the PayPal button below to send $15 per person electronically.

3. You may call 989-736-3000 to reserve a spot but pay at the door.

Whichever way you pay, we'll send you an acknowledgement note, put you on the list of registrants and check you in at the event.
